Dear Colleagues,

The International Dead Sea Symposium (IDSS) is one of Israel’s prominent historic scientific meetings. Since 1992 the IDSS has successfully contributed to making our country one of the leaders in innovative electrophysiology. Accordingly, it gives us great pleasure to invite you to the 20th IDSS on Innovations in Cardiac Arrhythmias and Heart Failure, scheduled for September 16-18, 2024, in Tel Aviv.

The International Program Committee is currently preparing a multidisciplinary scientific program for professionals in all disciplines of arrhythmia: electrophysiologists, clinical cardiologists, internists, for physicians working in sport medicine and family physicians, as well as entrepreneurs, start-up and more mature innovative companies, scientists, biomedical engineers, and the industry.

The meeting will commence with a full day of workshops and mini courses on cardiac anatomy, ECG, conduction system pacing, LAA closure, S- ICD, lead extractions -a unique opportunity to learn and practice how to, HF management by CIED (CRT, conduction system pacing, LVAD), complex mapping and ablation procedures. It will continue with a two-day conference focusing on current approaches to treat cardiac arrhythmias, emphasizing the impact of novel technologies on current and future therapies intended to save hearts and lives.

Traditionally, a full day program of both pediatric and sport arrhythmology will be included, as well as a workshop designed for nurses and technicians working in pacing, EP, and cardiac care units.

‏Now more than ever, we look forward to the pleasure of hosting you at what promises to be an exciting and fruitful meeting of the highest scientific standard, along with opportunity to meet each other in person.

Sincerely Yours,

I.Eli Ovsyshcher, Michael Eldar, Michael Glikson, Roy Beinart

  • Jaffa

A city abounding in history, Jaffa is the oldest seaport in the world that existed as a port city some 4000 years ago. Just a short walk from central Tel Aviv, this old port is an easygoing town that has held onto much of its traditional stone-cut architecture. It is one of the best places to visit if you’re seeking a quick escape from Tel Aviv’s rush.

  • Tel Aviv

Tel Aviv is Israel’s technological center. But being one of the most colorful and fascinating cities there is, Tel Aviv has more sides to offer.

Vibrant 24/7 international culinary scene and energetic nightlife on the one hand, and beautiful sunsets and miles of picturesque city-side beaches on the other. TLV has it all.

  • Dead Sea

Once in a lifetime experience floating in the lowest waters on Earth. Visit the Dead Sea for a day of pampering and relaxation, experience the healing minerals of the natural mud and salt, where it never gets cold, and the sun shines all year round

  • Galilee

Fill your lungs with the fresh air of the Sea of Galilee. Clear sweet fresh-water lake surrounded by beautiful greenery, looking at the view of the snowy cap of the Hermon Mountain in Northern Israel. Hike in the surrounding nature, discover ancient Crusader fortresses and take some time off exploring the mysterious natural caves.

  • Jerusalem

A city of tradition, religion, and history, but also, increasingly, of modern culture and heritage.  Jerusalem is a city with so much to offer that you could spend years here and still not see ‎everything.‎

  • Night Life

The Tel Aviv Nightlife scene is world renowned. It gains greater international fame every year. The city is now widely considered to be one of the best nightlife destinations in Europe. Neighborhood, hipster, underground, trendy, and beach bars, the Tel Aviv nightlife is certainly one of the greatest attractions of the city.
